Hello I have a dog from the Shaka bloodline. The family and I love the dog however he has A LOT of energy. I know he was a hog dog when I got him as a puppy but thought he could be a great family dog which he is. He’s great with the family and my two kids 3yr and 2 yr old. We take him on runs once every two days (chasing the sxs or golf cart). I would like to introduce him to the hog hunting life but to be honest I know nothing about. I do go out to River Ranch (which is a hunt club in lake whales Fl) two weekends out of the month and there are hogs out there. I have seen him peek his nose up and howl gently when he gets a wig of pigs. This tells me he’s interested I guess. I’m a native Floridian and would love to hunt with him but again I don’t know where to start. Any advice or even a phone call if you want to spare a long text thread would be greatly appreciated.
